Role Overview:
The Marketing Officer will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies for Biovaccines Nigeria Limited’s products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns. This role involves working closely with both private and public sectors to expand the reach and impact of our vaccine products.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote Biovaccines Nigeria Limited’s products in both private and public markets.
Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize product reach and profitability.
Sales Plan Implementation:
Create and implement sales plans to achieve organizational sales targets and revenue goals.
Identify and engage with potential customers, including government health departments, hospitals, clinics, and private healthcare providers.
Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Brand Management:
Enhance the company’s brand presence through strategic marketing initiatives.
Develop and oversee marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, and advertisements.
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
Public Relations and Communication:
Act as a liaison between the company and the public, ensuring clear communication of the company’s mission, products, and achievements.
Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, healthcare organizations, and industry influencers.
Prepare and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other public relations materials.
Event Management:
Plan and coordinate marketing events, such as product launches, health fairs, and conferences.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
Prepare regular reports on marketing and sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in B. Pharm (preferred)/B.Sc. Biological Sciences (Microbiology, Biochemistry).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing and sales plans.
Strong understanding of the vaccine market and healthcare industry in Nigeria.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
